
Sukoharjo, 12 February 2025 – On Tuesday, 12 February 2025, Universitas Sugeng Hartono conducted a Semester Learning Plan (RPS) evaluation and updated its curriculum based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach. All lecturers from the various study programs at Universitas Sugeng Hartono participated in the event.
The event was officially opened by the Acting Rector of Universitas Sugeng Hartono.
The Acting Rector (Plt.) of Sugeng Hartono University, Mrs. Fitria Hayu Palupi, officially opened the event and emphasized the importance of the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) approach in improving the quality of teaching and graduates. In her opening remarks, Mrs. Fitria Hayu Palupi stated that evaluating course outlines (RPS) and renewing the curriculum based on OBE serves as a strategic step to equip graduates of Sugeng Hartono University with relevant competencies and the ability to compete globally.

Educators implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) as an approach that emphasizes clear and measurable learning outcomes, ensuring that students gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills needed in the workforce. Through this evaluation, Universitas Sugeng Hartono aims to continuously align its curriculum with industry needs and advancements in scientific knowledge.
During the discussion, the lecturers actively shared their input and discussed how to adjust the course outlines (RPS) to more effectively support OBE-based learning outcomes. They also explored various innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement in the academic process.
