Thursday, June 26, 2025 — Universitas Sugeng Hartono’s Informatics and Digital Business Study Programs hosted a successful practitioner guest lecture titled “IT and the Digitalization of Healthcare Services: Practical Insights from Hospital Information Systems (SIMRS),” held onsite at the main campus.
The event featured Dini Bagus Prasetyo, S.Kom., Head of the Hospital Information Management System (SIMRS) Unit at RSUP Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro in Klaten, Central Java, as the keynote speaker. He shared practical insights and firsthand experiences in developing and managing hospital digital systems based on SIMRS, which serve as the backbone of healthcare service transformation in Indonesia.
The event started at 8:30 AM (WIB), with enthusiastic participation from all students in the Informatics and Digital Business Study Programs. Subsequently, the speaker guided participants to explore the integration of information technology in hospital management, address challenges in implementing digital healthcare services, and identify opportunities to develop tech-driven innovations in the medical sector.
According to the head of the study program, this activity is part of the university’s strategy to deliver practitioner-based learning aimed at preparing students to meet real-world industry demands.
