
Sukoharjo – Thursday, October 3, 2024 – Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH) proudly hosted the inauguration and official induction of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association – University Chapter (HIPMI Perguruan Tinggi) at the USH Auditorium. This event marked a new chapter in empowering students, especially those in the Digital Business Study Program, to actively engage in entrepreneurship.
A Ceremony Marked by Spirit and Purpose
The event commenced with a solemn opening, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, the HIPMI Hymn, and the HIPMI March. In the opening report, the event committee chairman emphasized collaboration and youth empowerment as key themes — aligning closely with HIPMI PT’s mission to cultivate creative and competitive young entrepreneurs both nationally and globally.

Official Induction of New Leaders
After the opening remarks, the Secretary of HIPMI read the Decree (SK) issued by the Sukoharjo Branch Executive Board (BPC HIPMI). The highlight of the event was the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony, led by the Chairman of BPC HIPMI Sukoharjo, Mr. Agung Dirmansyah, S.Kom. He also symbolically handed over the organization’s pataka (flag), entrusting the newly appointed leaders with their mandate.

Leaders Share Their Vision
In his inaugural speech, elected Chairperson Rafi Fadhil Fajar Abdullah shared his vision to inspire innovation among students, highlighting the synergy between technology and entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and creativity in building a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem within the university.

Meanwhile, BPC HIPMI Sukoharjo Chairman Agung Dirmansyah expressed his appreciation for USH students’ enthusiasm in embracing entrepreneurship from an early stage. He encouraged the new leaders to continue building impactful and forward-thinking business initiatives.
Strong Support from the University Leadership

The event concluded with remarks from the Acting Rector of Universitas Sugeng Hartono, Mrs. Fitria Hayu Palupi, S.ST., M.Kes. She expressed full support for HIPMI PT’s programs and reaffirmed the critical role students play in economic development.
“We are proud to witness the spirit of leadership and innovation among our students. With the support of organizations like HIPMI PT, we hope to see more student entrepreneurs contributing to regional and national progress,” she stated.
Ultimately, the inauguration ceremony served as a powerful momentum to strengthen student entrepreneurship at USH, laying the groundwork for impactful contributions to both the local and national economy.
