
Sukoharjo, May 20, 2025 — Universitas Sugeng Hartono once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and adaptability by hosting BISNIS TALK 2025, themed “Food and Health Innovation: The Role of Industry in Supporting Balanced Nutrition.” The event took place at the USH Auditorium on Tuesday (20/5) and successfully brought together students, academics, and industry leaders in a dynamic, collaborative forum.
As a concrete example of synergy between academia and industry, Universitas Sugeng Hartono invited two major national companies: PT Intrafood Singabera Indonesia and PT KONIMEX. Both shared valuable insights and innovative strategies for developing healthy, safe, and research-based food products.
The event was officially opened by Acting Rector of Universitas Sugeng Hartono, Mrs. Fitria Hayu Palupi, S.ST., M.Kes, who emphasized the importance of cultivating a cross-sector culture of innovation to strengthen national food security in today’s modern era.

In the first session, Ms. Diah Ari Valentine, S.Farm, representing Intrafood, ignited the audience’s enthusiasm through her presentation titled “The Development of Functional Foods Based on Natural and Herbal Ingredients.” She highlighted how Indonesia’s rich diversity of spices and herbs can be transformed into high-value products that promote global public health.

The second session featured Mr. Nicholas Brian Josorahardjo, S.Tp from KONIMEX, who captivated the participants with a presentation titled “Food Safety Culture.” He emphasized the importance of building a strong food safety culture as the foundation for creating high-quality, trustworthy products in the eyes of consumers.
The discussion flowed warmly, with students and lecturers actively posing critical questions that were directly addressed by the industry experts. The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs by Ms. Etik Sulistyorini, S.ST., M.Kes, followed by a group photo session filled with a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration.
Through this BISNIS TALK event, Universitas Sugeng Hartono reaffirmed its commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry—while preparing graduates who are not only intellectually capable but also ready to compete and innovate in the real world.
