Sukoharjo, 17 November 2023 – Universitas Sugeng Hartono held a Clinical Instructor Training on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the university auditorium. The event was attended by representatives from local hospitals and community health centers (puskesmas) around Sukoharjo, as well as expert speakers in the field.
This training was organized as a preparation program for field supervisors who will mentor students from the Nutrition Study Program at Universitas Sugeng Hartono during their Field Work Program (PKL) in hospitals and community health centers in the Sukoharjo area. The main goal of this training is to enhance the quality of clinical mentoring, ensuring that students can make meaningful contributions to the healthcare sector.

The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Bambang Kamiwarno, S.Kep., MH.Kes., Head of Human Resources Development (HRD) at RS Panti Waluyo Surakarta. He is also a lecturer at several leading health universities in the Solo Raya region. The training covered concepts of preceptorship and mentorship in clinical education, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of effective supervision approaches in healthcare settings.
Participants came from RS Indriati Solo Baru, RS Panti Waluyo, RSUD dr. Soeratno Gemolong Sragen, and community health centers (puskesmas) in Mojolaban, Baki, Grogol, Sukoharjo, Bendosari, Tawangsari, and Nguter. They enthusiastically joined the training to enhance their skills and knowledge in guiding students in the field.
The event ran from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, featuring a highly interactive and collaborative atmosphere between the speaker and participants. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct discussions with Mr. Bambang Kamiwarno, allowing them to explore current issues in clinical supervision in greater depth.
Through the organization of this Clinical Instructor Training, Universitas Sugeng Hartono reaffirms its commitment to supporting and developing educators and healthcare practitioners within the campus and partner institutions, positioning healthcare as a primary focus for advancing education and community well-being in the Solo Raya region.
