The Digital Business and Nutrition Study Programs at Sugeng Hartono Institute of Science and Health Technology (ITSK) collaborated to host a community service event titled “Basic Nutrition Screening Analysis Using Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning.” The event took place on June 13, 2023, at SMAS Kristen Widya Wacana, Solo.
The collaboration featured two lecturers: Imam Syafii, S.Kom., M.Kom. (Digital Business) and Alfan Ridha, S.ST., M.Gz. (Nutrition). Both served as speakers in an interactive session attended by high school students.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness among teenagers about the importance of balanced nutrition from an early age and introduce the role of technology—especially machine learning—in health and nutrition analysis.

Imam Syafii presented the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including learning from examples and decision trees. He also demonstrated how web-based technology can be used for basic nutritional data analysis using machine learning. Meanwhile, Alfan Ridha delivered insights on nutritional anthropometry, exclusive breastfeeding, sanitation, and screening tools like MUST and SGA.

Through this event, students gained a deeper understanding of healthy eating habits and the application of technology in nutrition. The knowledge is expected to help them improve their daily diets and support their overall growth and development.
