Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH)  was established by the Indriati Foundation in 2021 with the issuance of 
the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 436/E/O/2021 under the name Institut Teknologi, Sains dan Kesehatan Sugeng Hartono . Then on February 15, 2024, ITSK Sugeng Hartono changed its name to Universitas Sugeng Hartono based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 203/E/O/2024.

USH is a dynamic and ambitious university committed to becoming the first international university in Solo Baru. As a forward-thinking university, USH is actively developing innovative and impactful academic programs designed to meet the evolving demands of a globalized world. It was founded by the Indriati Foundation and backed by Duniatex Group, one of Indonesia’s largest textile conglomerates.

There are currently six undergraduate study programs offered at USH consisting of Bachelor of Digital Business, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of International Business Management, Bachelor of Business Law, Bachelor of Food Technology, and Bachelor of Nutrition. New study programs are currently developed to meet the needs of the recent global trends. USH features a modern campus equipped with international-standard laboratories, digital classrooms, auditoriums, sport facilities, and direct access to industry internships through affiliated businesses such as hotels, hospitals, and factories within the Duniatex Group.

USH combines classroom learning with research, community service, and hands-on industrial internships with the implementation of a project-based learning method. USH also offers international programs conducted in English for Bachelor of Digital Business, Bachelor of Computer Science, and Bachelor of International Business Management. All students are also equipped with Mandarin Chinese Language courses and various scholarships are provided at USH based on academic merit and talent.

Universitas Sugeng Hartono is supported by the existence of the Indriati Foundation and its sister companies from the Duniatex Group, Indriati Hospital Solo Baru-Sukoharjo, Indriati Hospital Boyolali, Hartono Trade Center (HTC) and several hotels in the Surakarta and Sukoharjo areas including: The Alana Hotel and Convention Center Solo Baru, Fave Hotel Manahan, Fave Hotel Solo Baru, Swiss-Belhotel Solo, Grand Mercure Solo Baru.

Universitas Sugeng Hartono offers two academic systems: the Regular Class and the Evening (Employee) Class.
The Regular Class is designed for students who wish to attend classes in the morning, with a learning schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM (WIB).
The Evening Class is intended for working professionals seeking to further their education through a flexible learning schedule and affordable tuition, while still benefiting from high-quality facilities and academic standards.
