PERSONAL STATEMENT

Assoc. Prof. Jacob F. N. Dethan, S.T, M.Eng.Sc, Ph.D is the rector of Universitas Sugeng Hartono. He is an accomplished academic and innovative leader in higher education, widely recognized for his commitment to advancing international collaboration, academic quality, and institutional development in Indonesia. With a strong foundation in both teaching and academic management, he has consistently demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to curriculum design, research strategy, and global engagement.

Assoc. Prof. Dethan has played a central role in establishing international partnerships that connect Indonesian universities with institutions around the world. His efforts have expanded opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and culturally enriching academic programs. He believes that higher education should empower individuals to become global citizens while remaining grounded in local values.

Known for his integrity, vision, and collaborative spirit, Assoc.
