Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH) continues to strengthen its commitment to providing high-quality higher education with global competitiveness. This strategic step was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between USH and INTI International University, Malaysia, on Monday, 24 November 2025.

This signing marks a significant milestone in USH’s journey toward its vision of becoming an internationally recognized university by 2028. INTI International University, a renowned educational institution in Malaysia with a strong track record in technology, research, and global collaboration, will serve as a strategic partner for USH in expanding its international network. Through this partnership, both institutions are committed to creating a dynamic and innovative learning ecosystem capable of preparing students to compete on the global stage.
The initial implementation of this collaboration has been realized through two activities focusing on strengthening artificial intelligence (AI) literacy. The first is a Visiting Lecture titled “AI and Optimization in Service Delivery,” featuring speakers from INTI International University and providing in-depth insights into the use of AI to improve the effectiveness of various services. The second activity is a Community Service Program (PKM) with the theme “The Utilization of AI in Daily Life,” held at SMA Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat Surakarta. Through this activity, USH provided education to students on the benefits and applications of AI in everyday life, opening new horizons for younger generations to understand future technologies.
The Rector of Universitas Sugeng Hartono, Assoc. Prof. Jacob Febryadi Nithanel Dethan, S.T., M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this collaboration is a concrete step in strengthening USH’s position at the international level. He emphasized that this partnership not only opens opportunities for academic development but also creates space for USH students and lecturers to engage in global programs relevant to current developments. This collaboration is expected to produce various academic initiatives, research activities, faculty and student exchanges, and other international programs in the near future.
With the signing of this MoU, Universitas Sugeng Hartono is taking confident strides toward a future of adaptive, creative, and globally oriented education. USH believes that its collaboration with INTI International University will serve as a strong foundation for developing a generation of Indonesian youth who are competent, innovative, and ready to contribute on the international stage.
