Sukoharjo, June 12, 2025 – Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH) hosted an academic visit and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Universitas Pignatelli Triputra (UPITRA). This initiative marks a strategic step in strengthening institutional governance and expanding national collaborative networks to support the enhancement of quality in the three pillars of higher education (tridharma perguruan tinggi).

The event, held at the main campus of Universitas Sugeng Hartono (USH), was attended by Deans and Heads of Study Programs from both institutions. During the formal forum, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaborations, including the development of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curricula, the organization of national and international seminars, faculty and student exchange programs, joint research, collaborative scientific publications, and the strengthening of community service programs based on applied research.
The Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Law, and Business (FTHB) at Universitas Sugeng Hartono, in his opening remarks, emphasized that this collaboration is part of the institutional strategy to accelerate the achievement of the university’s vision of becoming an internationally recognized institution. He highlighted the importance of synergy between higher education institutions in responding to the challenges of globalization, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the need to develop youth competencies grounded in scientific knowledge and national values.

Strengthening Academic Synergy Through Strategic Collaboration
Universitas Pignatelli Triputra warmly welcomed the collaboration and viewed it as an opportunity to integrate academic resources, utilize shared laboratory facilities, and exchange best practices in teaching and research implementation. The university also recognized the partnership as a strategic step to strengthen both institutions’ positions within a national higher education ecosystem that prioritizes adaptability and impact.

The highest leadership of both universities officially signed the memorandum of understanding. After the signing, faculty representatives from both sides held a technical discussion to formulate a roadmap for implementing the collaboration in the short, medium, and long term. The event concluded with both institutions participating in a group photo session and exchanging souvenirs as a symbol of their commitment and collaborative spirit.
