"Universitas Sugeng Hartono Buktikan Kualitas! Mahasiswanya Raih Emas di KSN 2025!"

Sukoharjo, April 29, 2025 — A proud achievement has once again been made by Joya Nathanael, a 6th-semester student of the Informatics Study Program at Universitas Sugeng Hartono. He earned a gold medal in the prestigious 2025 National Science Championship (KSN) in the English category, competing against students from across Indonesia.

Organized virtually by the National Science Championship Center (PUSKASNAS), the competition provided a platform for students nationwide to showcase their academic abilities in today’s digital era. Joya stood out by securing the top position among hundreds of participants from leading universities.

“This is the result of consistent practice, a strong desire to grow, and of course, the support from my university and family,” said Joya in an interview. “I want to prove that students from regional areas can also achieve success on both national and international stages.”

As a token of recognition, Joya received a gold medal, a certificate of achievement, and both digital and printed awards to mark his academic excellence. These accolades serve as valuable credentials to support his future academic and professional pursuits.

Joya’s accomplishment was warmly celebrated by the academic community of Universitas Sugeng Hartono. Acting Rector Fitria Hayu Palupi expressed her pride in his achievement.

“Joya is a true embodiment of our university’s values: adaptive, creative, and independent. His success reinforces our vision of becoming an internationally recognized university by 2028—not just as a dream, but as a clear direction.”

The participation of students in national competitions like KSN highlights the vast potential of Indonesia’s young generation—especially when given the right support and opportunities. The university continues to encourage its students to engage in scientific competitions, personal development, and social contribution initiatives.

To conclude, Joya shared an inspiring message for fellow students:

“Keep learning and take every opportunity that comes your way. Don’t wait to be perfect before trying—because the courage to start is the beginning of every great achievement.”
